Raven Fox, Executive Producer at Radiant Studio Works
TEDx Topic: Reixing Art, Music & Technology
Born in 1964, with Spanish & Native American Indian roots, Artist Raven Fox's greatest creative influences came out of the late 70's / early 80's Pop Art era. Notably connected with the late artist Keith Haring, who he became friends with while studying graphics at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. During this time, Raven assisted Keith with many of his various high profile art projects, including the Central Park "Free South Africa" poster campaign, producing various nightclub events, and helping him open "The Pop Shop." To this day, he still draws upon that art world experience ~ adopting a Haringesque style and a soulfully deep passion for mixing art, music & technology.
Throughout the 90's, he worked globally as an independent DJ/Producer, Creative Director, and Graphic Designer with a focus on the Arts, Fashion & Music industry. Ravens' resume includes work for a veritable list of "who's who" from companies like MTV, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, Donna Karan NY, Saatchi & Saatchi, Motown Records, DreamWorks Records and Universal Music Group ~ collaborating with some of the top creative forces of the time.
Inspired by the renaissance of the city, he moved to downtown St. Louis in 2006. Through a partnership with local booking agency TalentPlus Universal, his performance & production work contributed to helping many of the St. Louis regions non-profit organizations raise both awareness & millions of dollars in funding. For his high energy and dynamic DJ performance credit, he was twice awarded St. Louis Magazine's "Best A-List DJ" in 2010 and 2013. During this time, he also founded Radiant Studio Works: his independent creative design and production studio focused on creating and producing large scale immersive light shows involving new media technologies. To date, he has designed, created & produced works for Grand Center, St. Louis Union Station, the Cinderella Building, the St. Louis Planetarium, and most recently the Worlds Fair Pavilion in Forest Park.
Raven Fox loves his life. He works, plays and lives in the beautiful Tower Grove section of St. Louis with his life partner, internationally known mural artist Faring Purth. He is the proud father of a 24 year old daughter Elysia, who lives in New York. His ultimate goal remains the same ~ bringing people together from all ages and walks of life to positively move them emotionally through his artistic visions.Get Tickets To See Raven on Dec 10th
